Get ready for quadruple fun as two sets of identical twins are thrown into a whirlwind of mistaken identity in The Comedy of Errors, this year’s free summer Shakespeare production at Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park in San José.
Silicon Valley Shakespeare is pleased to present an all-female version of this riotous comedy from June 12 to 28. The Comedy of Errors begins when Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio go looking for their long-lost brothers. When they arrive in Ephesus, unaware that they’ve found the right town, they set off a chain of frenetic events as confused locals mistake each twin for the other. Outrageous antics run rampant in this hilarious farce that’s great fun for the whole family.
