Breast Cancer Connections was a place for women to get the support they needed after a breast-cancer diagnosis. (The organization subsequently expanded to address ovarian cancer and is now called Bay Area Cancer Connections.) As I wrote the copy for this website, I wanted to emphasize the warmth and strength of the staff and volunteers. I also developed a new navigational structure for the site to help clients and potential clients find vital information more quickly.

We are a nonprofit organization located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but you’re welcome to call us from anywhere. We offer free programs and services for those touched by breast cancer and the people who care about them.
Whether you call us or visit in person, we’ll treat you with respect and compassion, and help you take the steps you need to face your cancer.
